Privacy policy
This policy explains how enquiry and first-visit request data are handled on the Perfect Paws Grooming website. Perfect Paws Grooming provides professional pet grooming services with care, comfort and attention to detail. We offer baths, haircuts, nail trimming, brushing and coat care for dogs of all breeds and sizes. The salon is located at 1005 W Sugarland Hwy, Clewiston, FL 33440, United States. Privacy questions can be sent to [email protected] or raised by telephone on +18639834844. This document covers personal information collected through the website forms and the limited technical data used to keep those forms usable. It does not cover paper cards later created at the desk.
Who collects the information
Perfect Paws Grooming collects the information as the operator of the website and the Clewiston salon. Requests are reviewed by the salon desk so a groomer such as Maya Chen, Luis Ortega or Priya Shah can reply with a suitable visit time. The operator does not sell enquiry lists and does not use form submissions for unrelated advertising. If a first visit is hosted by a named groomer, that groomer may see the service focus and preferred window so the wash station or grooming table can be prepared. Published ratings are salon feedback, not marketing profiles.
Data collected
| Data category | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Full name, email and phone | To review and reply to a submitted first-visit or general enquiry request. |
| Area or visit time, care plan, question category, preferred time and message | To understand which salon information and groomer allocation are relevant. |
| Consent state and submission timestamp | To record the request and confirm that consent was provided. |
| IP address and browser user-agent | To support abuse prevention, rate limiting and technical review. |
Why the information is needed
A grooming salon cannot prepare a useful first visit from a name alone. The desk needs a way to reply, a sense of your area or preferred hour, and a service focus so full grooms, bath and brush or nail and coat care can be matched to a groomer. The message field lets you mention younger handlers, accessibility, breed, size or a particular coat need such as mat removal or a gentle bath. Consent is collected because the operator should not store a request without a clear indication that you want a reply. Technical fields such as IP address and user-agent are collected to slow repeated automated posts. They are not used to build a marketing profile.
The website does not collect payment card details. Service fees, if you later join a care plan, are arranged at the salon after the visit. Do not type card numbers or government identifiers into a form. If a brief health or behaviour note is needed, keep it limited to what the groomer must know to work safely.
Storage and retention
Request records are stored in a server-protected directory for review and reply purposes. Request records should be deleted after 90 days unless a shorter retention period is adopted or continued storage is needed to complete a reply, handle a complaint or demonstrate that consent was given. If you later become a care-plan guest, the desk may keep a separate salon record under ordinary business files. That later record is not created by the website form itself. Notes taken during a visit sit in salon files, not in the website store.
Sharing
Perfect Paws Grooming does not sell personal information collected through the website. A request may be shown to the groomer who will host the first visit. Information may be disclosed if United States or Florida law requires it, or if disclosure is necessary to protect staff, guests, dogs or the salon. The operator will not publish your enquiry on the public website. Hosting providers who store the website files may process the record only as a technical service.
Deletion requests
You may ask the operator to delete a website request. Send the request by email to [email protected] or by telephone on +18639834844 and include the email address used for the original form. The desk will look for matching records and remove them unless a limited copy must be kept to finish an unfinished reply, handle a safety issue or meet a legal obligation. A deletion request does not cancel a care plan later agreed at the salon. If you submitted more than one form, name the dates you remember so the desk can find each record.
Access and correction
You may ask what personal information from a website form is held about you and you may ask for a correction if a name, phone number or preferred time was typed incorrectly. Use the same contact details listed above and allow a reasonable period for the desk to search the stored requests.
Security
Access to stored request records is restricted. Server protection should be verified after deployment. Forms include basic checks such as required fields, length limits and a short delay before a request is accepted. If you believe a request was sent in error, contact the desk promptly so the record can be closed. Do not send passwords, payment cards or identity documents through the message field.
Children
Perfect Paws Grooming welcomes families as well as adult owners. A parent or carer should submit a first-visit request for a younger guest and should use an adult email and phone number for the reply. The operator does not knowingly collect extra personal information from children through the website beyond what is needed to schedule a supervised visit. Supervision remains with the accompanying adult. Dogs remain the responsibility of the adult who brings them.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the forms or the salon offer changes. The current text will appear on this page.
